Since the pandemic, staycations have become a popular trend for us, and Brisbane has seen a surge in new hotel openings. The city’s skyline is transforming with hotel openings, with luxury, boutique and international hotel brands claiming their share of the thriving accommodation landscape.
Here are the ones that has opened or will be opening in 2024.
Amora Hotel Brisbane
This new 5-star hotel in Brisbane CBD was officially opened in late 2023 after a $30 million AUD renovation (from former Novotel).
If you’re traveling with children, this hotel is the perfect choice. Its family-friendly amenities, including a pool and game room, kept my kids entertained for hours. The spacious family suite was perfect for our family of 4, and there was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and relax. The hotel’s location near family-friendly attractions and restaurants was a bonus, and the staff were all so welcoming and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!
A new 5 Star hotel in Brisbane, this luxury boutique hotel is in the heart of Fortitude Valley. The hotel features a French bistro and a rooftop bar/restaurant.
Courtyard By Marriott
A new 4 Star hotel in Brisbane close to South Bank Parklands, the Courtyard By Marriott offers a range of accommodation from rooms to suites with a kitchenette. The property features an indoor heated pool and fitness centre.
