Food delivery we tried, taste and reviewed

It all started a few weeks back, when we decided we are staying home and not going out at all. So we started to do some research and start trialing the food delivery services in Brisbane. We don’t prefer meal prep boxes, since we would still like to cook by ourselves and also since we want to make sure what Chloe eats too.

Hello Fresh

We went for the family pack of 4 with 3 meals for the week.
We tried :
– Caribbean Chicken & Coconut Rice with Cucumber Salsa & Charred Pineapple
– Thai Red Chicken Coconut Noodles with Carrot & Asian Greens
– American-style BBQ Chicken with Wedges, Rainbow Slaw & Corn Cobs

And here is my final product of the Thai Red chicken coconut noodles, I have to say is easy to achieve following the recipe cards provided, is a fun way to explore myself to new recipes and the best thing of it would be one less thing to think what to cook, and how much should I cook to feed 4.

Food Connect

We ordered the basic box from Food Connect. This is the very first one we would love to try, but a little disappointed on the quality, is soggy when it is delivered. We have to finish the vege box really quick.

Basic Box

FMD Produce

And on the third week of ISO we ordered our box from FMD Produce. We are interested in their Asian Sensation box, which is a rare find in Brisbane market.

Straight away, we already had the choi sum with lots of garlic, which we missed a lot. The quality is good, all the vegetables are not wet and are in great quality. And is FREE delivery.

Fruit Thyme

Love this one with so much Salad & vege in the box.

The only cons is they don’t have it order online form, I have to send an email to order the box. But other than that they are really approachable, usually answer me within an hour if not immediately. And is FREE delivery.

To be continued.
